Rivervale Side Quest

Description:

        Talk to Syrus Gilstride in the Druid guildhouse. He tells you the story of the burning of the great tree. He says that the goblins have stolen the tree痴 last seed and wants you to kill the goblin witch Tesht置zu and retrieve the seed.

        You must now run to the Runnyeye zone. The easiest way is to go to Highpass and leave from the N gate. Once you get out the gates, run NW and then continue NWish along the mountain until you see a road. Follow the road and you will enter the zone. This road will fork in a few spots but continue along the North fork (or closest to it) and you will eventually a small camp on a hill with a goblin sentry (roamer), skirmisher (inside the stone ring) and either Tesht置zu or a goblin novice (place holder for Tesht置zu). If you go too far you will run into a wall with goblins protecting it (this eventually heads to the goblin fort for the level 27 quest). You will need help with this at level 17 since the novice and Tesht置zu are both casters and very nasty. Continue to kill the goblin until Tesht置zu spawns. Tesht置zu will drop the bloodroot amulet which is what you need.

        Return to Syrus and he will tell you he also needs a vial of Karana痴 Tears from Lyliann Brindlespur. She is located in the SW corner of Rivervale under a large tent. She needs 600 tunar for the tears. Once you have them, return to Syrus and he will reward you with 263,426 XP. He tells you to see Ren Deeppockets for your reward. He is located in the same building and will reward you with a piece of class specifig gear.
