About EQOA Addicts

Welcome to my EQOA page, I hope you find it useful. I'm creating this page to try and get all the information out there (at least the important stuff) in one location. I'm not trying to replace all the good pages like Allakhazam or Hodstock (both of which I hope you visit) but want it to be a bit easier to access the information you, as an EQOA player, should have at your fingertips. I owe a lot to Allakhazam and several others, that have helped me over the years since I was the "noob" and needed help. This site will never be as fancy as some of the sites out there but hopefully the vast amount of information will make up for whatever shortcomings the page has due to my own lack of web design knowledge.

I have been playing Everquest for a long time, since early 2000 or so (it's been so long I can't even remember any more). A LOT has changed in the PC version over the years, most of it for the better. I still miss the old days when if someone tried to Kill Steal from you, you could buff the mob they tried to steal and in return kill the other player. It was mean but goes to prove you shouldn't KS. My wife (who also plays EQ) talked me into getting EQOA when it first came out. I was hesitant, at first, but gave in (she's my wife and it was still EQ, duh). Now I primarily play EQOA and only occasionally the PC version (gets expensive with all the expansions every year).

EQOA is a lot different than the PC version (for those of you who have never played) but still fun. I play on every server and have played every class and race of character. I still have at least one of every class but have deleted some of the different races. I'll also admit that a lot of the characters I have are still low level since I prefer to play the classes I like. But, occasionally, all the alts get played. Each class has their own strengths and weaknesses so I tried to maintain neutrality when writing up the info on the various classes.

If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to contact me. It's going to take a while just to get the page to where I want it, though. Also, with all that is changed from in game updates, it gets hard to keep up with it all. But I am open to feedback and polite criticism.
