Warriors

Class:  Warrior
Arch-type:  Tank
Abbreviation:   WAR
Specialty:  The master of the Blade
Special Abilities:  AC Taunt or HP Buff
Primary Stats:   Strength & Stamina
Description:  Warriors are highly trained in armed combat, facing powerful enemies with no fear. They are the front line defense, the Master of all "Meat Shields"

Strengths:
  • Able to quad hit at level 35 (4 strikes per attack)
  • Dash abilities - Enables Warrior to run fast for a short duration
  • Able to wear a wide variety of plate armors
Weaknesses:
  • Quad attack useless if warrior uses shield or 2 handed weapon
  • High repair bills on armor/weapons
Creation Tips:  Warriors, as with all tank class characters, are the Meat Shields of the game. They are there to take damage, even sacrificing themselves to keep their group members alive. Being a tank isn't for everyone. Repairs get expensive as armor gets more hit points (yes, armor has hit points too). Tanks have to be able to trust their group members since tanks usually don't loot while in groups because of 2 main reasons. First, they usually carry an extra set of armor and weapons (for when the current set is "X'd" and needs repair). Secondly, if they loot, they cant "Chain Pull" and the number or kills (and thus xp) is significantly reduced.

The primary stats for a Warrior are Strength and Stamina but you will also want to put points into Agility and Dexterity. Strength is important not only because it affects the damage you do with melee weapons but also because it affects how well you taunt (an ability line for tanks that provokes the enemy to attack them instead of anyone else). Stamina, of course, is for Hit Points. If you can't survive the hits, you can't tank very well. Agility affects your defensive ability and Dexterity affects how effectively you land blows in combat.
